So where would one go to find support for the Optix G27C monitor? MSI seems to have zero, zip and nada about the monitor or the underlying support software that may work with it (MSI Gaming App works with MSI rigs only apparently) It's a nice monitor but sadly zero support that I can find with my under caffeinated google-fu this afternoon. I bought the MSI Optix G27C2 monitor almost a month ago and I can't get the monitor to work on Hz. When I try to switch display settings on my PC to hz the screen starts flickering a lot and goes black until it's reverted back to 60 hz. hz Refresh Rate + 1ms Response Time. The MSI Optix G27C2 gaming monitor is equipped with a hz refresh rate + 1ms response time VA panel which has the most benefit in fast moving game genres such as first person shooters, fighters, racing sims, real-time strategy, and sports.

Marked as best answer by lewis-dawson on January, Generic Driver for monitors is just a default Driver from Microsoft for all monitors if they do not have its exact Handshake name for the panel and a corresponding set of settings to use, generic is just to get it up and running i have a monitor that is running Generic Drivers but it works just fine even in games i have played 's of them and non have refused like your saying to do whatever i tell them to do so i suspect its your game your complaining about that is just buggy.
Ah I see. I didn't know that was the case. I suspected the name would always be known and provided in some way to the OS from the Monitor but I see that isn't the case.
