We also updated our Privacy Policy. The screen issue never effecteed me, but now it wont play videos and gives a download hbo now app long error code that doesnt help if you search it. The only help i can find says "turn it off then download hbo now app on" like im an 80 yr old who doesnt understand basic fixes like a hard reset. App is broken. Most videos don't play and generate long error codes. Issue persists for over a year now. No solution to 'can't play video' error.
Wish I read the reviews and saved the time I wasted on this app. High speed Internet? Apps that don't work? Yes to all the above. HBO Now worked, but it is a standalone sub. This app is a disaster. Nothing works at all. Too bad there isn't negative ratings. Error code varies but app is totally broken.
Phone and pc browser apps work great on same account and same wifi. Was a great app once. Everything is zoomed in so far icant even read the menu.
Edit: now the app is telling me i have no internet connection. HA what a joke. After reading other reviews and seeing this apps current rating, I was sceptical of how it would perform. I can happily report however that it has worked through almost download hbo now app and a half seasons of GoT so far flawlessly. Will update review if given reason but 5 stars for me.
